The Appliances Database contains listings for all appliances currently certified to the California Energy Commission as meeting currently applicable efficiency standards. Appliances shown here either meet federal efficiency standards or, where there are no federal efficiency standards, meet California's appliance efficiency standards.

When a new standard takes effect, models meeting the previous standard may continue to be shown for up to 90 days. In addition, for some appliances, the Energy Commission requires data submittal where there are no federal or state efficiency standards; the database also lists all currently certified models of those appliances.

To search the current listings, simply click on the Quick Search or Advanced Search tabs above. Efficiency data is available for all models if either a Quick Search by Category or an Advanced Search is performed.
